Who we are.
LA.EL.ME. is a Made in Italy mechanical excellence. Founded in 1977 by Roberto Soffritti and his cousin Michele Alboreto, a famous Formula 1 driver, it immediately distinguished itself for the unparalleled reliability and precision of its workmanship.
Our specialities are pressure reducers in the gas and tap sector, brass fittings and components for civil and industrial use. We also operate in the locks, liquid mixers and liquid filtering sector.
In 2022 we celebrated 45 years in business with the second generation of the family, represented by Roberto's daughters, Candida and Susanna.
We believe in quality, competence, punctuality, flexibility, listening and fully satisfying our demanding customers. But we also believe in an inclusive, serene and dynamic working environment, where everyone's talents are constantly enhanced.
We have become robotic, but we have never stopped thinking that it is the human mind that makes the difference.

What do we do.
At LA.EL.ME. we can directly offer the following machining cycles:

mechanical machining on transfer

precision small parts from brass bars up to a diameter of 50 mm with 4.0 technology

mechanical assembly on automatic or semi-automatic machines

air testing of finished products from 0.3 to 12 bar

annealing process

packaging with labelling

We are also able to offer indirectly, using an excellent chain of Made in Italy suppliers with whom we have long-standing relationships of trust, the following processing cycles:

hot pressing of brass parts weighing between 50 and 1,500 grams

die-casting of zamak parts
-
iron and steel plate drawing and blanking
-
galvanic treatments
-
impregnation and sealing treatments of parts subject to porosity

How do we do it.
At LA.EL.ME. we work to customer drawings and specifications, constantly collaborating through our technical department to ensure the best realisation of the required products.
This synergy, combined with the competence of our staff
and the high degree of specialisation of our technicians, allows us to operate in total symbiosis with the customer throughout the entire production process, from zamak die-casting to brass hot pressing
of brass, from brass bar machining to any galvanic treatments required.
Significant investment in the robotization of our machinery also allows us to ensure extreme flexibility in the volumes of production ordered from us.
Our supply chain is also first-rate and totally Made in Italy: they are reliable, precise, punctual partners. We have known and worked with them for many years, in a relationship of total and mutual trust.
Our standards are also their standards.
Every product that comes through our outgoing gates has been subjected to the most thorough quality controls, to ensure maximum
quality and full traceability of parts for the next 10 years, as required by law.

Quality control.
Our Quality Control Department is made up of highly qualified personnel, who work in close contact with the Production Manager and the Technical Department to continuously assess full compliance with the specifications required by the customer.
LA.EL.ME, in fact, has a metrological laboratory equipped with the highest quality monitoring and measuring equipment, suitable for checking technical compliance at every stage of operation.
In order to guarantee you the highest standards, we draw up daily control plans focused on assessing any criticalities
in the production process. In the input, production, assembly
and testing, each product is accompanied by a specific
sheet that is always available to the customer.
Among the instruments we have at our disposal are a profile projector
high-precision hardness and height gauges, a thickness gauge for galvanic coatings, control viewers and a roughness tester.
Quality and traceability documentation is kept, in accordance with the law, for 10 years.

The Management is responsible for ensuring and supporting the implementation of this policy by taking responsibility for it.
Each person is accountable, within the scope of his or her assigned role and competences, for the achievement of the established objectives.
The implementation of this policy and the achievement of the established objectives will be periodically reviewed by the Management.
Technical office.
This is one of LA.EL.ME's strengths. Once the specifications have been received from the customer, the technical director - with many years of expertise in the design field - takes action to identify and eliminate
a priori any problems that might arise during the realisation phase, in a dynamic of continuous and constructive confrontation and constructive confrontation with the client. It also suggests the most suitable raw materials for processing, avoiding waste and guaranteeing the best relationship between costs and the quality of the products requested.
